Junior Developer– About the Company:

My client is expanding and undergoing significant success across the group and have created a new role within their team for a Junior Developer and ideally some exposure to SQL, PL/SQL or ORACLE ( training given if not).

Junior Developer – About the role:

The company have implemented Oracle Fusion in their organisation to help with in-house Service Functions, and now wish to expand the delivery and support capability, helping support the growing demand. The role is centred around configuration / development around Oracle Fusion and PL/SQL. The Oracle Fusion system will integrate with the various stages of the billing and invoicing process, integrating with other business systems and 3rd party applications where required.

These are new roles in the team and will be part of an existing team and other staff across the business, understanding process and help integration with other teams. The main focus of the role is to take guidance and contribute to the development of new functionality and configuration of Oracle Fusion Applications.

The role will be home-based and involve occasional trips to their Liverpool Office ( once a week / fortnight) – holding meetings via MS Teams.

The role will also involve bringing some ideas to discussions and product design.

Junior Developer - Key Responsibilities:

Customise, design, and develop Oracle Fusion applications

Working with databases and database programming (PL/SQL)

Contribute and present documented solutions for approval

Implement approved solutions

Responsibility for non-functional requirements on the project and work closely with test analysts on the project

Working alongside Solution Architects to deliver documentation covering application and interface design to enable more integrated application development

Ensure key risks are identified and managed during the project lifecycle offering advice to stakeholders in the business

Provide regular reports to technical and project teams, working with Key stakeholders, colleagues, and Business Analysts in the company

Produce and maintain accurate documentation to support implementations, while maintaining best practice and improvement of the software development process

Junior Developer - Essential Technical Skills:

Candidates will ideally have some exposure to the skills listed below:

Proven experience of understand software development lifecycle

Preference for some previous software development experience on any technology but must be willing to X-train to Oracle Fusion

Some exposure to working with databases and database programming

Some relevant IT development qualification ( maybe a degree or other certification)

Passion to add value, creative mind and self sufficient to work with minimum supervision with a passion for learning.
