Based in our NYC HQ, MealPal Engineering is a small team of smart, hungry, and humble builders. We value pragmatic, friendly engineers that love shipping products and solving novel problems. You will:
- ️ Design, build and maintain the MealPal iOS application
- ️ Work with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders across the company to bring new features and products to MealPal users
- ️ Collaborate with developers who work on applications and set best practices for Android development across the company
You may be a good fit for this role if you:
- ️ Have a strong technical background, with 2+ years of experience in iOS(swift) development.
- ️ Have a good understanding of iOS architecture patterns
- ️ Have experience with declarative paradigm or RxSwift, unit testing, UI automation testing and performance testing
- ️ Prefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones, and have a good intuition for what is lasting and scalable
- ️ Have experience working in close collaboration with product, design, and other engineers, using modern engineering practices (automated testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery)
- ️ Can wear different hats and be a great developer
- ️ Are interested in taking full ownership of the development lifecycle by designing, building, and operating applications
- ️ Have a good understanding of Auto Layout/constraints, experience building custom views
- ️ Love for the science and art of product-driven engineering. You have an eye for detail and are passionate about creating amazing, delightful user experiences.
