Sky - Junior Display Developer - London, UK

SCA Studio incorporates our artworking, display, email and print production, mastering, versioning, QA and delivery functions. As Junior Display developer, you will join the Display team and be responsible for developing HTML5 banners and banner suites which will be deployed in the Google DoubleClick Studio environment

Working independently or as part of a team in the Osterley office you will be tasked with producing high quality interactive solutions from visual concepts and designs. You should endeavor to create and maintain excellent working relationships with team members.

Within our busy studio you will also update and amend live campaigns, work on new product developments and administer product developments to a high standard.

Self devolpment will also be a key responsibility and you will be required to complete training upon successfully joining our team and attend further training sessions as required. This continual method of improvement and self development will place you in a good position to further your career.

What you’ll do:

– Use Photoshop to prepare design assets ready for build

– Use JavaScript/JSON to build and maintain animated HTML 5 banners in DoubleClick Studio

– Participate in team meetings as required including daily stand ups

– Support the lead and the team with DCO code base maintenance

– Work closely with Producers, Designers & QA to deliver display banners

What you’ll bring:

– Knowledge and practical experience on the fundamentals of JavaScript (Vanilla JS), HTML & CSS.

– Experience in creating animations with GSAP (GreenSock) and CreateJS animation libraries

– Experience with Google Sheets, Google Docs and other Google products

– Debugging & Performance Optimisation

– Practical experience with Photoshop

– Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise high volume of tasks/briefs

– A high standard of work with a focus on right first time

– Ability to work without supervision and with good communication skills

– Ability to work well in a team

– Basic knowledge of React JS (ES5/ES6) or similar framework/library is a bonus

– Basic knowledge of the company’s products, solutions and services are a bonus
