Junior Java Developer - UK

Full Job Description

Junior Java developer required to join one of the latest disruptive Fintech companies. Our client have been operating for 8 years having developed a highly successful payments platform with a client base across Europe. Thanks to their unprecedented growth they are now embarking on the next stage of their journey, which is to build out a suite of e-money solutions, offering the next generation of online digital banking, multi-currency services and payments to our commercial clients.

Our client have an office location in London however are very flexible around remote working. This role will be joining the team on a permanent basis.

Part of the role will be working with other developers, product owners and operational staff to ensure effective delivery, maintaining existing products while working on new products and contributing to the future growth of development across the department.

Key Experience:

• Experience in delivering code in Java 8 or higher
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team working skills, ability to manage own workload
• Interest in cloud Technologies
• Interest in Financial Services (desirable)

Ideally, our client would be looking for candidates with 1+ years of commercial working experience in a similar role.
