A YouTube interview with Dennis Ivy who sold his site for $40k

Dennis Ivy

I recently had a catch-up with Dennis Ivy, a self-taught web developer friend of mine who works mostly with Django, a Python framework. His YouTube channel has blown up in the last year or so from 3,000 to 118,000 subscribers! He has a lot of great Django tutorials in particular and he is well worth a watch.

Dennis has also successfully sold a website for $40k back to the company he was contracting for and has lots of tips for freelance web developers. He also gives advice on imposter syndrome, the benefits of starting a YouTube channel for developers and the common mistakes he says beginner programmers make. I hope you enjoy the video!
