Full Job Description
Are you passionate about building websites, marketing/advertising, and helping small businesses grow and prosper?
We're looking for front-end web developers who have experience with Wordpress. Our agency uses Oxygen Builder exclusively, but you don't need experience with Oxygen to qualify. If you have experience with Divi, Elementor, or other visual page builders, we will train you on Oxygen.
Skills Needed
- Must have a solid understanding of Wordpress & Plugins
- Must have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS
- Must have some experience building websites
Bonus Points
- Design skills or wireframing skills
- Experience with Figma
- Experience with Oxygen
- Experience with Clickup
- Javascript skills
- PHP skills
Equipment Required
- A capable computer, preferably a Mac
- Reliable transportation (you may need to attend a client meeting here and there)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Setting up Wordpress & Oxygen development environments
- Building pages and templates in Oxygen from existing wireframes or designs
- Installing and updating plugins
- Handling client punch list requests
- Inserting or editing content
- Deploying sites from development to live server
- Creating forms
- Optimizing images
- Formatting and publishing articles
- Website user testing
- Mobile optimization
- Answer client questions & document requests

- Must be a self-starter
- Must be extremely organized
- Must be willing to occasionally respond to emergencies outside of normal hours
- Must be eager to learn and adapt to our processes
- Must be PASSIONATE about building websites and helping companies grow
- Must want to do this type of work LONG-TERM
- Must be willing to be held accountable to RESULTS
Ideal candidates will be recent graduates or self-taught individuals. A college degree is not required – we care more about skills, output, and attitude than certificates.
There is a 90-day paid test & training period for all new hires. Your future at Digital Gravy depends on your output during these 90 days.
