PHP developer job (part-time)

CORE Data Systems Ltd has a part-time vacancy for a mainly back-end PHP (Symfony) developer with some front-end javascript (REACT) capability. The successful applicant will be working collaboratively online within a small team on an interactive web-based teaching & learning platform for the education sector.

They will have the opportunity to work with the newest technologies and will be encouraged to learn as much as possible from the existing team, as well as to bring new ideas to the group. This role would suit a competent aspiring/junior developer who is looking for a part-time role (could become full-time) with the benefit of furthering their personal and professional development at all levels.

Required Skills

Applicants must be highly competent in HTML, CSS, PHP and Javascript, with a good working knowledge of Symfony and React. Secondarily, we are looking for candidates who have an interest in game theory, challenge and reward concepts, and an interest in the design and development of online games, puzzles and challenges and ideally some experience of how to envision and implement them. Candidates with both front and back-end skills will be preferred.

Hours and Pay

Typically 5-10 hours per week initially. Hours are flexible to suit the candidate's own timetable, with an immediate start available.
