Overview
The Jr Software Engineer will be one of two new engineers in our external interface team. The primary responsibility will be to work with the integration team on new interface requests. These will primarily be external API’s, but can also include flat file feeds to our Azure blob storage. You will then transform the data and pass it on to our core API’s.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop new solutions and add functionality to existing systems.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
Experience & Education
- 6+ months of experience in .NET development (C# strongly preferred)
- Experience with SQL Server development
- Ability to working independently required
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Web API interfaces
- Experience with Azure DevOps / Git a plus
- Experience working in an Agile environment preferred
- Experience working in a HIPAA compliant environment a plus
